This is ONE (not a pair) standard sized Chrome Australian number plate surround with your choice of custom wording on it. To make the text easy to read we usually put a solid background behind the text. Usually black text with a white background is the easiest to read on chrome frames. The lettering is made using the best quality external use signwriting materials which are designed to last 7 to 9 years outdoors. The lettering is cut out by a computer controlled cutter and applied to the frames by hand.

This plate frame fits all standard sized Australian number plates including standard sized personalised plates but DO NOT fit the Slimline plates that some have as an option on the front. This is a great way to enhance your number plate. We also have standard sized plastic Australian plate surrounds which can be personalised with your own text - see seperate product.

The plate surround is easy to install in a couple of minutes. You remove the two screws holding the number plate on the vehicle, clip on the frame and re-attach to the vehicle.

Please check you vehicle before buying if you have any doubt about the frames being able to fit. The standard size Australian number plate is 135mm x 368mm or 5.25 x 14.5 inches. The frame needs 5mm of space at each end of the number plate. This chrome plate surround is chromed plastic. The chrome has a thick coating and a mirror finish. When they are on the car you can't tell what they are made of under the chrome.
